Trying to set up my BYOD with new Koodo sim

been waiting for almost ½ hr for current provider to send  a text asking me to approve the transfer

but my self serve account is already showing the number I want to transfer

is this normal to wait so long?

or did I miss a step somewhere?

Which carrier were you switching from? Have you tried restarting your phone to see if it was successfully transferred? Are you able to make calls and send text messages with your number?

Transfer from Bell-MTS

In Koodo self-serve, it still indicates that transfer is in progress (12hr later)

with old SIM still in my phone, still able to make calls and send texts

Called BELL-MTS and after 15 min on hold, they confirmed that they released my number from their system (manually) this morning.
installed the new Koodo sim and it worked right away

Thanks again for the help
