phone number transfer issue

Hello, I’m trying to transfer my phone number from Lucky Mobile to Koodo, but I’m having trouble.

My first porting request was cancelled, and when I try again it keeps showing “fail.” I’m not sure why this is happening.

I also scheduled a callback, but I didn’t receive a call, possibly because my current number is still a temporary Koodo number.

Could you please check if there is any previous port request stuck in the system and help me complete the number transfer from Lucky Mobile?

Have you tried to reinitiate the port transfer? Does your old SIM card still work? What does it say on your Self-Serve account? https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/moving-your-number-koodo

If you’re unable to port the number when you try again like you described, then yes, a rep can clear the previous port requests. This tends to help. Reps on this platform have limited abilities when it comes to porting numbers, the callback would be the correct method or by typing #PortHelp in Koodo assist. If the bot can’t help it will connect you to a rep.

The temporary number for koodo should work for the callback if the sim is inserted into a device. Alternatively, you can have them call any number, it does not have to be the koodo one so you can schedule it to the lucky number if it still works.
