My teenage son has tried to register his Koodo account to access self serve so I can update my credit card payment info, but he never receives the verification code. He's tried using his email and text but nothing comes through. He receives other verification codes for other things but Koodo verification doesn't come through. I switched to Telus for my phone so I nolonger have access to Koodo self serve. We just need to speak with someone at Koodo so he can access self serve. I have the account number on his agreement if someone from Koodo can please schedule a callback since you have to be logged in to schedule or provide a Koodo number I can call, or any help that would be appreciated!
Were both lines on the same account?
If so, then even if you port your line out, your self serve login should still be active
My Koodo account was closed when I moved to Telus over a year ago.
So what account is your son using? Is he signing up a new account for the first time as a new customer right now?
He has had the account for over a year, just never registered for self serve as didn't have any issues until now.
Did he check his spam folder to see if the verification email went there?
Yes, and restarted phone.
Meanwhile my other son has registered his account and has accessed Koodo self serve successfully, so I think I'll get him to setup a callback and talk to them about his brother's issues.

The son with the issue (who is the account owner) should be the only to request the callback as he will be the needed account owner Koodo will speak with

Just remembered about 611 for koodo client care. Will get my eldest to try that first on his phone and see if we get the customer service we require.

Yes and unfortunately they text the link which brings us back to having to sign in which we can't do because we can't register if no verification codes are coming through. Nice big circle going nowhere , so we called the store where we got the plan and they promptly without hesitation gave me the ACTUAL LIVE customer service number: 1-855-251-2604! This might not be correct for outside Canada so check with your local Koodo store. We spoke to a lovely friendly and helpful tech rep for prepaid who was not at all surprised we had this number. We didn't have a pin but did have the agreement with account # in hand and she verified some other info. All sorted on the phone and she figured since they are doing upgrades with their system that might be why the delay in getting codes to register and to give it a couple of weeks before trying again. I hope this helps anyone else having trouble with verification codes!
