New line BYOD online?

I want to add a new line to my account (I already have two lines active). I have a device (Pixel 6a). Is there anyway to get it up and running online without waiting for a SIM card to arrive via mail? Can I pick one up in store (regular or eSim) without having to pay $50 for activation?

Unless there's a promotion going on that specifically says they'll waive the connection fee, picking up a SIM in store will cost you $50. Theoretically they should be able to email you the esim voucher, but I've never purchased an esim from koodo so I'm unfamiliar with their procedure.

Yes you can buy a blank sim/esim from a kiosk with no connection fee.

However you will need a rep through a callback via koodo assist to swap the sim from the one in the mail to this new one.

Just to confirm, you did get the self serve activation email from koodo right?  THis email signifies that your sim has been mailed out.
