Callback scheduling should be more flexible, with times offered at different times of day. I am currently offered a callback the day after tomorrow at 7 am, 7:30, 8, or 8:30 am. When I click “more options” I get the same choice. 8:30 am in my location is more then 2.5 hours before Sunrise. A terrible time.

Koodo should offer a broader choice of times of day. Some people work shifts, others have babys they don’t want to wake up with phonecalls, etc. Not everybody is happy to take phonecalls in the wee hours of the morning.

This has to be better. We are waiting for a number to be ported to Koodo for ten days now. It is hung. We can make outbound calls, but nobody can call us. That is costing us more business than the savings of several years (!) by switching from Bell to Koodo.

So I want to ask #PortHelp for an update. I am offered 7 am to 8:30 the next day. That is too early, we do not open before dawn. So I click “more options”. I get the very same hours before sunrise on another day.

Really? That scheduling systems needs a reprogramming.

The current scheduling system is based on the “first come, first serve” rule. If that certain time frame of that day were booked by other customers, you could only have access to the remaining option unfortunately.

What Koodo could is to hire more people to provide more slot on that time frame but that isn’t likely happen easily. I would recommend you try to schedule call back early daytime to see if there is good time slots that meet your schedule.

No,

There MUST be an available timeslot in the next 52 weeks that is not before dawn.

I don’t think they offer something that early. Koodo Assist mentioned they opened at 9AM EST time weekday.

However, you can try yourself to see if you are lucky.

Not the entire world is on EST.

In my town, the Sun currently rises at about 9:50 am, if you have to know.

I was offered time slots ONLY from 7 to 8:30 am. Then again, Koodo did not specify the time zone, which is bad in itself. Virgin clearly states the time zone, which makes things easier.

Your scheduled callback is automatically stated in your local time zone so check your PC, phone time zone to see the relevant call back time. You don’t have to worry about timezone here.

When I mentioned 9AM EST, I meant they started working at that time according to their business calendar. I didn’t say your Sun rise or set at 9AM EST

That's what they always say. In reality, callbacks are all over the place here. Maybe it's because I have a phone number from a very different time zone, I don't know

One day I had two callbacks lined up 2 hours apart. The came 5 hours apart. One was two hours early, the other one over an hour late  It makes no sense.

Some places in Canada use more than one timezone.

Koodo should stop thinking that everything is like Toronto. Just be clear and state a timezone, it's really easy.

And give people more choice for scheduling callbacks.
