Question

Moblie data service temporarily turned off by carrier

Hi,

I keep getting notification on my phone stating that I have no mobile data service and that it has been temporarily turned off by carrier. I’ve tried restarting my phone, restarting my network settings, and reinserting my sim card but nothing is working. I’ve also checked my account and I’m completely up to date with my payments and that I haven’t went over my data limit. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 but I’ve never encountered this problem before.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @kiyoatic

Just to confirm, is it just mobile data that is not working?

If you place your sim in another phone (friend or family), does data work?

@Flo Koodo It’s just mobile data not working because I can make calls

Hi @kiyoatic, we’ve checked your account and there are no blocks that would prevent you from using data. We also noticed some data usage today, was it working earlier?

Are the APN settings in your phone properly configured? You can find them here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/setting-data-your-non-koodo-phone

@Georgia Koodo It was working earlier but I’ve checked my APN settings, they’re correct.

We’ve checked with our network team as well and there are no reported data issues in your area. We’d recommend scheduling a call-back through the Koodo Assist to speak to our Tech Support team for further troubleshooting and assistance.
