I previously had a Koodo number, which was canceled on May 11, 2023.
I still have the SIM card that I used at that time. I would like to know if it is possible to recover my old number.
If number recovery is not possible, I will be arriving in Canada on March 24 and would like to use my phone immediately upon arrival. Could you please provide information on affordable plan options that I can sign up for right away?

Unfortunately that is not possible. You will need to get a new SIM card. While you may be able to get your previous number, it is extremely unlikely unless it is still available in the pool.
You have 90 days to regain a number of a line you cancelled. After that, it goes back into the general pool and is available for someone else. Unfortunately it’s highly unlikely to get your exact old number. My understandsing is that reps only see the numbers offered as you see if you enrolled online yourself.

There is a chance of a rep being able to assist with getting your old phone number if it’s unused still. There will be some charge for the service.
