Incomplete number transfer

I recently switched from Telus to Koodo. I received a new phone number from Koodo which got replaced after I ported my old telus number onto Koodo. The issue I am facing is that my outgoing texts are still being sent from the koodo number instead of the Telus number I ported over. When I go on self serve it says phone number transfer completed successfully. 

Anyone else have this issue?

Did you restart your phone after the port transfer?

When people text you are you receiving it? 

How about when you make or take calls, is it working like it's suppose to?

When did you iniciate porting process?

Did you receive a text also to tell you porting is complete?

I figured out the issue. It was related to android text settings. Something called RCS text chat in my android messaging was still using my old Koodo number. The problem got fixed after I turned off RCS chat and then turned it back on.
