By the way, I can easy to swap my ye seems like a through the self-serve up at Fido, Rogers, Bell, virgin and freedom mobile. Koodo it's the only one service provider that takes more than one day and even more to get my sim swapping done.
I found their call back system sometimes had issue at night time, especially during weekend. I would recommend you try again tomorrow during daytime.
Regarding the SIM swap, did you ask them to send the code to your SIM or your email?

- what if I lost my phone and purchase new device and need to activate it. Weekend and weekday shouldn't be a problem. If it is a problem, then this system must be changed. If I could call in for assistance even I have to wait for an hour, I am still ok with it.
I paid for my service so I prefer at least provide me some basic assistance. Only swapping a sim card but cost me whole weekend. I don't think that's reasonable process.

eh, can you elaborate on your sequence of SIM swap? did you try to switch 3 times? Did you receive SMS confirmation to your SIM or to your email?.
Since SIM swap is a security, their system didn’t make thing easy for you to swap. If there is any issue, you would have to get in tough with a rep.
I received the verification code through email,SMS as well. The issue is after I input my verification code., the page keep looping and eventually expired.
Tech support called back this morning. Spent 30 minutes, the rep did everything she could. Still not able swap me to esim. At last she helped me changed my sim back to physical sim. It works in a minute.
