How to separate a shared account


How do I get off the account I am on. Currently my ex and I are on the same account with separate phones and plans, but on the same bill. 

I need to get the accounts separated into their own things, or else I will just cancel my phone I guess.

Account owner need to make request to transfer of ownership.

This is why I would never share an account with a partner. The partner who is the account owner holds too much power over your primary source of communication. It's too risky that the relationship will fail
