After I traveled to Egypt on vacation, I found out that eSIM on my iPhone doesn’t  work here. What are the options I have to keep receiving messages? Do I need to get a new sim from Koodo? How can I get it shipped to Egypt?

Esim should behave like a normal SIM when you traveling. Unless you already reset or deleted the eSIM in your phone. 

Can you check your Koodo selfserve? Did you add roaming add-on there? Also, I assumed you are a postpaid customer?

If you want to get a replacement SIM card, you have to get someone, either a trusted friend or relative, to help you out. They will need to get it from a Koodo store. Once they purchase it, they can ship it directly to you in Egypt.
