Changing SIM after lost phone; email verification not working


Hey Community!

 

Ive seen similar threads and have experienced the same issue.

 

New phone arrived in the mail with a new SIM card, and in order to activate it I need two-step verification. I can’t receive a text to the number associated with my account (phone lost), and when i select the option for an email notification, it says something like “your email must be active for 48 hours to continue” which is the same message I saw someone else receive, I’ve had a Koodo account with this as the only email address for years…

Hello @drawknife! In this case, you can activate the new SIM card on your line with the help of a rep from our technical department. Do you have access to any other active Canadian phone number to schedule a callback on koodo.com/chat?
