It seems your number transfer hasn't been completed. Have you received any SMS from Koodo saying the transfer is completed? And your number showed up in self-service?

I assume you also restarted your phone and disabled the SIM card from your previous carrier?

eSIM number isn't always correct and might take longer to show the correct number.

Anyway, When did you initiate the port? Can you double check if the eSIM is active (I asked because there was a previous case where customer accidental removed eSIM)

Did you respond yes to the port request text message to your old provider?

about 3hrs ago. yeskoodo esim is active.

I would recommend you restart the phone every hour to see if that can help.

I will flag a rep to see the current status of the port

The reps will respond here as we have, however, response times can vary.

Just to confirm as I don’t see a response when this was asked above, but did you receive the confirmation text message from Koodo that the number had successfully ported over? The number may show in self serve, but it may have not come over correctly.

Can you also check the port status? You can do this by logging into self-serve, going to mobile services, and select manage phone number. It should then update you with the port status, does it show completed or something else?

I see, thank you for confirming. If you can, please edit out your phone number. This is a public platform for anyone to see.

Have you attempted to reset your network settings on the device? As this can update the number that is registered to the sim. If you don’t know how, if you provide the type of phone I can walk you through it.

If that does not work, then there may have to be an update on the backend as it’s possible a system issue occurred when assigning the number, at which you will just have to wait for a response from the reps.

I see, in that case you will have to wait for a response from the reps. I will give them another nudge for you.
