esim activation abroad and deactivate koodo sim without removing airplane mode

Hi I am currently in Argentina and cant access my sim or esim from the Manage Sim menu of my samsung S24.

When I bought this new phone in November 24, I asked the question if It was unlocked and could use anywhere wih Koodo. The answer was yes both for my phone and Koodo.

I am now in Argentina and can not activate my Esim because the manage sim menu is greyed out and not accessible.

 

Any one had that problem before?

    Yes, phones sold new in Canada must be unlocked since around 2017.

    You need to remove airplane mode to do it. It shuts down cellular service. You won’t be able to if you keep it in airplane mode.

    Is your Koodo line a sim or esim?  Is you trying to activate your Argentina esim?
