Terrible experience

I recently had a very bad experience with Koodo. I took a two new Koodo connections from Gagandeep who is working at Toronto Premium outlet at Koodo. He offered me a plan with free Samsung S23 phone with an option to buy back for $200. They have taken two mobile phones back and now not giving back the refund. When I am trying to follow up Gagandeep is not replying to my messages or taking my calls. I sent multiple emails to the sales manager Mazen Sbei and he is also not responding to my emails / messages or calls. I have all the text history and payment references that I made to Mazen’s email. Looks like they are running a scam with innocent people’s. Be aware and don’t buy any plan with them as they will make all false promises. Earlier Gagandeep was calling me multiple times and requested to make the agreement before Oct 31st because he wanted to achieve his monthly target and now no one from the Koodo team is responding.

So you bought two phones from them, returned them, and they are still charging you for the phones?

As part of the promotion they gave Samsung S23 with trade of option. They took the device back but didn’t refunded the trade off price. They promised to refund in 10 business days but no refund so far and not responding to my messages or calls.

Usually when you trade in a phone, the money you get for the old phone will reduce the monthly price of the new one.

Have you checked to see if you’re paying less than the regular price that’s currently shown online? Or see if this is the case in the paperwork you got?

My bill is as per the agreement, the phone and trade option was an additional offer which was given. Actually they are offering Samsung S3 with the new plan. I didn’t wanted an additional phone so they offered the trade off option to buy back the phone.

Eh, I am little confused, are you making contract with those guys or with Koodo? I asked since you mentioned you paid money to someone else (not Koodo). I wonder what is the actual agreement. And when you canceled did you receive any email from Koodo?
