SIM card

I have a new phone. I am selling my old phone (reset).

I put my older SIM card in my new phone.

Can I sell my old phone with the new SIM card I received with my new phone?

Will the buyer access things on my account information if I do this?

If you’re an existing Koodo customer, the SIM card you received with your new phone is sent as more of a convenience in that if your old SIM card fails, you’ll have a backup. Since the new SIM card is not activated, the buyer would have to register with Koodo, activate the SIM card and create a new account. The buyer would not have access to your account information.

Including the SIM card with a phone is unusual. If the old phone is for a family member or friend, that’s okay. If selling online to the masses, let the buyer get their own SIM card.
