I signed up for Koodo through a sales rep from Telus. $50 plan

I was suppose to receive a sim card in the mail.

10 days later, no sim card for an invoice for $160.

It has taken me 2 hours to get this straightened out and I’m still waiting on the line.

Is this the level of service I can expect?

Hi,

Regarding the calls, did you call Telus or schedule a call back from Koodo?

Koodo normally use Canada Post to send the physical SIM, if the address is correct, it should be quick though. As of now, you can visit a Koodo/Telus and ask them for a replacement sim. They should be able to give one to you.

Regarding the bill, I assume you have access to selfserve, have you downloaded the PDF bill and check the detail there? If you activated at a store, you might be charged a connection fee of $80 as well.

The following link explains what to expect on your first bill and why it’s usually larger than the regular monthly plan amount you sign up for:

Hi @Don4BC

We have identified an account based on your community profile, however, we don’t see a bill ready and the services are not yet activated.

Do you see the bill in self serve or you got a notification by email?
