signed up but received excessive bills and not getting promissed rate

Ok, got a call from Telus saying he could offer me $20 dollar plan , great sign me up. Now getting emails I signed up for $35 dollar plan. Supposed to get $5 off for auto billing and god knows where the other $10 is coming from. They sent me a number but haven’t received SIM card yet.

got an email saying I owe them $130. Which is 80 connection fee and 35 monthly.

 

feel like I’m getting scammed and can’t call Koodo to find out what the heck is going on.

We have looked into it and we can confirm the regular cost of the plan is indeed $35, and there is a $5 bill credit for 12 months (We recommend checking the service agreement in self serve for more details).

If you sign up for pre-authorized bank payments, you will get $10 per month autopay discount. More info can be found here
