Purchased refurbished phone in 2024 - started seeing the battery was going fast... Just remained busy and wasn't noticing that large of a difference. But 6 months later, it would just be empty in less than 2 hours.

 

Tried checking but now I have a Tab Balance that I have to pay - and with 3 lines and 8 years relations- Koodo Team doesn't care.

Battery performance can degrade over time, especially beyond warranty periods. If your refurbished phone’s battery drains quickly after 6 months, it’s likely due to natural wear. Koodo’s standard support may not cover battery issues on refurbished phones after some time, which could explain limited assistance despite your loyalty.

2024 is a long time ago.

If the battery issue happened 6 months after purchase, you are able to bring it in at that time for warranty repair.

Your warranty is good for 1 year for CPO devices.  So depending on when you bought it in 2024, you may still be able to have it repaired under warranty

I tried calling Koodo mobile- no help.

Final call given today before going public, and now moving all 3 lines.

Not about the issue, more about how we handle it.

It's not about this. It is about handling.

If I had warranty till September 2025, why no agent in my various phone calls since February informed me about this?

I am coming to know the phone had warranty after publicly coming out in community and not in half a dozens phone calls I made till now (even when the phone was under warranty)

You never mentioned this in your original post.

Did you request a callback to speak with a rep?  Who did you speak with?

Did you make the calls or did you schedule a callback?  Koodo does not take inbound calls so who did you call and who did you speak with?
