the tab that you’re eligible for is normally dependent on the results of the credit check. If your credit rating is low, then you will be limited to lower tier tabs or no tab at all. This can also occur if you’re an existing customer and have a history of having past due bills.

If it is saying no tab and you have to purchase the device, then unfortunately you’re not eligible for the tab program.

Just checked credit score on capital one app it’s 810 and got a credit card worth 5k and RBC 25k

Thank you for the extra info. In that case when doing the credit check did you use a SIN number or a credit card? The checks tend to come back better with a credit card over the SIN. Not sure why but they do.

Do you have a history of past due bills? As even if you have good credit, if there is a poor history of paying the bill on time, then they will not allow you to have a tab.

Also, are you a new customer to Koodo or an existing one for some time? Which device were you looking to get? As it could just be that the device is just no longer eligible on a tab or if you just joined koodo, your account is too new and you have to wait a min of 45 day after signing up with a bring your own device plan to switch to a device and tab online.

What plan did you pick?  Not all plans qualify for a tab.  For example, the starter plans like the $15 plan will not qualify for a tab
