More EASY ROAM Questions

Hi,

So the wife is down in Guatemala for two weeks -  and I can't find an easy roam package for any S.Amerains places, is that the case?

Two - she had the USA roaming package she bought for 1 week that was $40 bucks but Koodo said she can only get that deal once in every billing period!?!?  Again is that the case?

Three - she just said in a call that someone at Koodo told her she cant use her phone to call or text and can only reach out with FB Messenger and other crap like that?  Again - really?  I doubt it, that’s the whole point of a roaming plan, turn it on and pay the $16.00 bucks a day and use your cell phone as you normally would.

If you have any answers to these questions - i’d like to hear from you.

That is correct. The passes you see are the passes that are available.

You can add it again in the same billing period if that’s what you want to do. You should add it by text shortcode on the final day of the first package so you have seamless use of it. Otherwise you’ll need the assistance of a rep to add it again.

Yes, that’s odd to hear if that’s what you were told. You can use your plan normally, and you can make calls to the country you are in plus Canada.

Hummm,

Well that’s annoying then because she said she tried to add a plan for the second week when she was in Phoenix

and was told nope, only once every billing period.  I wasn’t there, but god knows how she’s getting this info ……

 

I told her there no way in hell that comment about ONLY using FB Messenger - that’s the whole part of a Roaming 

plan right ?!   Use it as you would normally …..    Thanks for the info.
