How do I set up a PIN on my account for security purposes so ill be able to order online? I placed an order that they refused to process because Ive never had a pin and I wouldnt give them my partial sin and driver's license number over the phone

Did Koodo call you to verify your online order and asked for your SIN and licence? Or are you refusing to provide this on the online ordering website?
They called me after i placed an order online through my account. But I dont recall ever being asked for that type of information before and have never created or even prompted to create a pin so I had no idea what they were talking about
You can request a callback via Koodo assist to set your PIN. but note they may ask for similar info to confirm your identify on the account
IMO and it is just IMO, they are not Cops, your Insurance Company or the Ministry of Transport, so they are not entitled. They are not your Bank nor Revenue Canada so have no right to your SIN and not entitled. For that reason I went prepaid. You have no idea the information that can be found about you with your Drivers Licence number. And, it is not just Kodoo, it is just about any business you deal with. I even refused the Bank my Drivers Licence number. They can peruse it, confirm the picture and address, but not the numbers. When it happened, Bank called Head Office and they confirmed they were not entitled to the numbers. This happens to be a pet peeve of mine as you may have become aware.
