Hi @btom

@Flo Koodo that article needs to be updated to include 5G now that Koodo offers some 5G capable plans as well.  Also I’d love to see the bands listed as well as frequencies for HSPA and 4G/LTE as that is what most of the published spec sheets show online (in my experience).

@btom there’s several variants of the A34 and usually the GSM Arena page for most phones makes it clear what the network differences are between them, but for whatever reason the A34 page (https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a34-12074.php) shows 10 variants under the “Models” section near the bottom but does not break down the Network section by variant.  This could mean that they all offer the same set of frequencies/bands, but that would be at least a little unusual as usually the reason there are variants of a given model is to have differing frequencies for differing target markets.

That said, a general rule of thumb is that if the phone is relatively recent and was bought in/intended for the Canadian or US market, it will *probably* be quite/fully compatible.  I make no guarantees but chances are good if you’re buying a Canadian/US model.
