I give up.

Bell just got a new customer.

I’d wait to cancel with Koodo until you can verify that you don’t have a pending or possible current order being shipped to you and then get stuck with a heavy bill including a tab and tab bonus payoff.

Hi ​@pissedoffcustomer, we understand it is an inconvenience however our Webstore team performs authentication calls for protection against any fraudulent order attempts. If not authenticated, they cannot proceed with validating the order.

As the order was not authenticated, we can confirm it has been cancelled and the tab has been removed. 


I have cancelled this purchase and have confirmation of the cancellation. I am going to move to Bell.

What a stupid way of doing business. Lost a customer after 18 years.
This is a company who relies on customers to conduct customer service for them. How pathetic. I will advise anyone I know to steer clear of this amateur hour outfit.

So they want to make sure that someone didn’t hack my Kooko account, hack my credit card, hack my bank account and answer all the security questions and 2 tier authentication so that they could order a phone and have it sent to my address?
Were they dropped on their head?

it’s nice to see someone who is angry not taking it out on fellow customers.

That said, unfortunately scamming and impersonating is so rampant now that I’d personally be grateful when a company is taking some extra steps to protect my account. There must have been a reason they acted this way, but of course we’ll never know.

All that is moot now anyway, I wish you all the best with Bell 😊
