Why start and advertise for a promotion if you don't have any in stock? I have been waiting patiently and three times I have seen the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with 256GB advertised at a price I can afford and right from the start of the promotion it says it is out of stock. I have called and spoke with reps asking when it will be in stock and never given any answer. All I get told is to look and select something that is in stock. But this is the phone I would like. Not to mention the frustrating fact that I have paid for extended care on now 2 different phones and never got any satisfaction from your so called insurance carrier Assurion and out all the money that I paid you for those 2 phones and still paying for the one that I don't even have anymore. I would think that a company that I have been with for over 8 years now would do a bit better for their customers as it seems this phone only happens to be ìn stock when not on sale. So am I to assume once again this particular phone will be back in stock again when the promotion is over?

Certified pre-owned phones are based on returns and repairs. It is not like they are manufacturing pre-owned phones. Unfortunately you are at the mercy of what is or isnt available.

This is a different issue. If you do not believe the extended warranty is worth the value, you can choose to not purchase it. I recommend that everyone researches the terms of an extended warranty /insurance product prior to purchasing it.
Thank you Dennis. I most certainly did read the terms of the extended warranty, it was Assurion who failed to honor it, not once but twice. I even had a Koodo manager intervene to help me with this and after 2 years and several calls from both of us to Assurion , they still did not honor it and I paid over 2 grand for that one and the second time they passed me off to a third company who would not offer service to my area but I could take it to one of their locations, closest being over 300 miles because they don't except mailing or courier service and must be delivered in person. What a crock of ding!
Doesnt koodo handle the sending of the phone in for extended warranty repair?
It is a repair shop that reports the issue back to koodo and the insurer to confirm the issue is under extended warranty?
It is for these reasons I always recommend against paying for extended third party warranties. Even if they honour it, it’s still often larger and larger servicing fees as time passes on.

I remember a time I tried to get service for an extended warranty from Best Buy, and at 1 point during the heated discussion the Manager pointed to the one line on the big sign on the wall that said “Terms and conditions may change without notice”. Never again have I bought an extended warranty from anyone
