cant get a hold of anyone!! want to cancel internet

I have been on the phone for hours.. and even swapped at one point when i actually got  a person right back to waiting.. it says i can cancel the internet on line but when you try it says to call the number for assistance and doesn’t let you cancel on line. At this point. I was originally just looking to get help with a modem issue but at this point the customer service is making me just want to cancel completely.. I just want to get a hold of a person and after now 4 hours of being on hold and trying the online chat functions this is my last effort to get a human to help me cancel this.
