bill after canceling a new line with phone within 15 days

Hello

I got a new koodo line with phone from Walmart and returned it after 1 week which was yesterday. But today i got a bill for the full month along with installment for the phone. However there should be no charge as walmart clearly said there is no due. How to fix the billing error?

Hey! If you returned your phone and canceled your line within 15 days at Walmart, you shouldn’t be billed for the full month or the phone installment. Sometimes, the system takes a bit to process returns, so a bill might show up before everything gets updated.

Here’s what you can do:

- Double check with Walmart that your return went through and ask for any return receipts.

- Log in to your Koodo Self Serve and see if the line still shows as active or if there’s any update on your account.

If the bill doesn’t get fixed in the next few days, reply here with:

- Did you get a confirmation of cancellation from Koodo or Walmart?

- Are you seeing the line still active on your account?

This will help figure out the next steps! Usually, charges get reversed once the return is processed.
