Prepaying in advance

TaraB77

Hi there!

I am looking for some information. I am working with a homeless client and have found him housing but it is conditional on him maintaining a working phone. Is there a way for me to set him up with a prepaid account but deposit the funds for 6 months so he doesn’t have to make payments?

Yes. You can build-up a prepaid account ahead of time. Monthly and pay-per-use  will be deducted from this floating balance.

PS: There is no way to get a prepaid balance refunded, so be prudent.

No refund is ok, that way he can’t  cash it out. I am ok with doing add on’s every few months as needed.

Second question,  Can you use prepaid credit cards to add funds to the account?

Yes, and there are many other way to topup. You could also buy a voucher and give it to him. Find more here https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/topping-your-prepaid-account

I am not sure if prepaid credit cards are going to work on the Self-Serve account. That said, you can use the prepaid credit card to purchase top-up vouchers and add them to his account every so often to replenish it. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/topping-your-prepaid-account

For a list of locations where you can buy top-up vouchers, you can visit this link for your nearest store. There are many places available. https://www.koodomobile.com/prepaid-vouchers
