I gave my Dad my old iphone and have already set up his monthly plan, etc. Instead of waiting for his SIM card to arrive in the mail, I picked one up at the Koodo store so that I can get his phone activated. I just realized that the SIM card says “Prepaid”. Can I use this when he has a monthly plan and his own phone??

You cannot use that unfortunately. You’ll have to go back and swap it for one of the monthly ones. (They’re orange/pink)

 

Thanks! With that info, next question...I had a new Koodo SIM card come with the new phone I bought, but I haven’t used it because I just used the one from my old phone (which I am giving to my Dad). Can I use with standard one that came with my new phone in my old phone for my Dad??

Yea, if that sim card has never been activated then you can use it for him!
