My phone was working for text and calls until I changed my base plan to a yearly plan with unlimited Canada-wide calling. Now when I try to call out it says Error 7B1: Phone is not activated on the network. SMS still works.

I have restarted my phone several times.

I have removed and replaced the SIM card.

Any ideas to get it working again?

Recently saw another customer with this exact same issue. You’ll have to contact customer service and ask them to refresh your account and it should hopefully fix the issue.

I spoke with a rep and ended up trying to “refresh the SIM” (at least that’s what she called it). So far it hasn’t made a difference.

Is refreshing an account something different?
