Does connection fee apply for prepaid SIMs?

Hello,

If I buy a prepaid Koodo SIM in-store, does the $60 connection fee still apply or is this only for postpaid (monthly) accounts?

Also, is there any way to use an E-SIM without first having a physical SIM (for new prepaid customers)?

Connection fee wouldn’t apply for prepaid activations, you would just pay the cost of the sim card and then activate online using the steps here: https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/activating-your-prepaid-phone

At the moment, prepaid activations on eSim cards are not possible.
