Hi, I would like to know why when I try to call a number that is not registered in my phone, I’m am told that I can’t make the call because the number is not registered in my contacts?

I have the 15cad prepaid plan including:

  • 100 minutes of Canada-wide Calling
  • Unlimited International Text and Picture Messaging²
  • Unlimited incoming calls
  • Voicemail³ and call Display
  • Call waiting, Call forwarding, Conference calling³

thanks for answering me.

You can call any Canadian number, they don’t have to be in your contacts at all 🙂 As long as you have minutes, you have freedom :)

yes I thought so but every I try to make at least 5 calls to different numbers that are not in my repertory but there is an automatic voice telling that it is impossible for me to make the call as the number is not registered in my contacts. so weird.

What do you mean by not registered in your phone? Is this some limitation on your phone itself? The plan itself does not have such a thing and many years ago when there were “call 5 people unlimited and otherwise you have 250 minutes” didn’t prevent you from calling other people.
