Working abroad, going on a long adventure, or flying south for the winter? Our Seasonal Hold plan could be perfect for you. For $15 per month (if you are on a BYOD plan) or for $30 on top of your monthly tab charge (when you are on a monthly tab), for up to twelve months, you can put a hold on your service but keep your account and phone number ready for you when you come home.

How does the Seasonal Hold plan work?
Seasonal Hold is a rate plan that allows you to temporarily suspend your services, for a minimum of 1 month to a maximum of 12 months, when leaving the country. 

Once on the Seasonal Hold rate plan:

  • You won’t be able to use any of your mobile services (voice, data, and text) 
  • You can still connect to Wi-Fi networks and will be able to make 911 calls.
    Note: For trips of 1 month or less consider signing up for Easy Roam. You’ll only get charged for days you use your monthly plan's minutes, data or texts.

 

Am I eligible?

  • Only available on lines that have been active on our network for a minimum of 90 days

  • Available on all tab types.

  • Available only to customers leaving the country longer than 1 month 

  • Seasonal Hold can only be used once in a 12 month period.

Important

  •  Any recurring credits will be removed when switching to the seasonal hold plan
  • You may lose the current add-ons upon changing to seasonal hold

 

Resuming services from seasonal hold:

Great news, resuming from seasonal hold is really easy, you will be able to change your plan to any in-market plan directly from Self Serve. 

 

  1. Log into Self Serve
  2. On the “Mobile services” page select “Resume regular service
  3. Make your selection from one of our in-market plans
  4. Choose your free perk and the add-ons you need
