If you switch your Koodo plan to one with Canada-US-Mexico roaming, you generally might lose your loyalty data add-ons because those are tied to your account and plan’s data perks. But roaming plans and Canada-US plans can be different things with different features, so it’s a bit confusing.

From what I’ve seen, the roaming add-ons like Easy Roam are separate perks you add on top, and they don’t usually wipe out your existing loyalty data add-ons. But some roaming plans or perks might override or replace other roaming features you have, so if you’re moving to a roaming plan that includes roaming perks bundled in, that might affect which roaming add-ons are active.

If you want to be sure, what’s your current plan name and the exact new plan you want to switch to? That’ll help figure out how the add-ons play together.

There is a chance.  If the loyalty add-ons are connected to your plan, then you will lose them with a plan change

Did you receive a text message when you received the add-on? Does it say that it will be removed when you change your plan?

Currently I have 65GB Canada wide 4G plan with no roaming add-on just the loyalty data add-on

My Current plan is  65GB Canada wide 4G plan with no roaming add-on just the loyalty data add-on. When I asking question about the 60GB can-us-mex roaming 5G plan to the rep she said I can only roam with the plan on US and Mexico and I will charged for the usage there. And she also mentioned us-can plan is different then this roaming one.

That is incorrect. It is explicitly mentioned on the Koodo page that it includes calls, text messages, and data usage in Canada, the U.S., and Mexico.

Thanks for clarifying it. I got confused by her explanation.
