Why did my stream + plan upgrade on its own?

I was on a stream + basic plan and this morning I see on my credit card statement that I’ve been charged for premium. I don’t seem to have to option to go back to basic and how do I get a refund for premium upgrade that I didn’t request? Thanks in advance.

That sounds strange. Have you checked your junk/spam inbox to see if anything is sent there? As well, when did you register for streamplus? There is an update to Discovery+ package with Koodo recently.

We recommend trying to make the switch from your online account. 

  • Log into your account
  • Navigate to "My Plans" or "Manage Plans"
  • You should see options to downgrade back to your Stream + Basic plan 

 Let us know if this works.

I’ve been subscribing to the basic plan since December after being on the premium for a few months. Checked all my email’s, nothing there. 
Not able to downgrade through my plans or my accounts. I see this message “ Your changes to Stream+ Basic will take effect on December 19, 2025. To make more plan adjustments, cancel your pending change.“

I was able to connect with a representative on chat and they have helped resolve my issue. Thanks for the replies and help
