I have two lines on my account. One phone is continuing to show message usage but the other one is not. Is there a way to stop showing the message usage in the self serve option? How would someone stop their messages from showing up in the usage?

There’s no way to stop it from showing in your account.
If you’re using an internet based service like iMessage though, it wouldn’t show since you aren’t sending/receiving texts anymore, you’re using Apple’s iMessage system.
