Upgrading to new plan

hi I would like to know how to upgrade to the promotional monthly plan which would give me 10g extra for the same $40 mthly price, can I do this myself on self-serve? And if so, will I retain the 5% discount for pre-authorized monthly payments?

You can just upgrade to the promo plan yourself via Self Serve by logging in and selecting “Change my plan.” Usually, these promo upgrades keep your existing pre-authorized payment discount, but it’s not 100% guaranteed; some folks say their 5% autopay discount stays intact when switching plans; others have had mixed results. So double-check after switching if the discount’s still applied. If it’s not showing, you might have to toggle autopay off and on again or reach out in the forum for a quick tip.

Thanks for the quick reply Robert, so there is a way to toggle autopay off? Can you tell me where to see this?

If you do not see the plan on your Self-Serve account, you can schedule a callback through Koodo Assist and speak with a rep. There are no guarantees, but you can give it a try. It should be noted that there will be a $15 fee for the plan change on each line. https://Koo.do/Chat

As for the auto-pay discount, you should be able to keep the $10 credit if you continue to make your payments with your bank account. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/auto-pay-discount

The auto pay discount should work as long as you have auto pay by bank set up and the plan details says there is an auto pay discount (which all current plans should say that).
