I have the Unlimited long distance pack for 27 countries included as a free perk with my plan. Does this mean that I get completely free calls to the United Kingdom and the United States?

Hi there,
That is correct! You can call from Canada to those countries for free including the 25 others while they’re included with the perk.
The important part here to note is that it is only free while you’re within Canada. If you travel to those countries and attempt to make a call it will not be free, you will be charged applicable roaming rates.

Unlimited Long Distance Pack restrictions: Calls made to phone numbers starting with the following six-digit combinations are not included in this add-on: 559-726, 712-775, 712-432, 605-562, 605-475, and 530-881. Calls made to these numbers will be billed at your standard pay-per-use rate. Macau is not included.
