Stream+ Billing for Amazon Prime

If I subscribe to the Stream+ I understand that if I have an existing account with one of the streamers, billing will switch from them to Koodo. What happens if I’ve prepaid a year for Amazon Prime? Will I lose that pre-paid amount from Amazon?

@RickT It does. Choice is yours...re Amazon. They will pause you annual membership once you buy Stream+.  You could reach out to them and ask for a partial refund. Or you could leave things as is, if and when you decide to cancel Stream+ Amazon will continue whatever months left in annual subscription.

When I switched, I called and Amazon promptly gave me a refund. 😀 If it helps in the decision making.

If you already paid a full year with Amazon, you’d need to contact Amazon regarding a prorated refund, prior to activating Amazon Prime with Koodo.

I thought I read elsewhere that you can pause the Amazon Prime account. Does that happen automatically when you sign up for Stream+?
