Hi there,

You need to add the lines one at a time. So in this case, you would create the account with one line, then once you receive your welcome email and setup your Koodo self serve account you will be provided the option to add another line under the “Shop” tab.

To transfer the numbers, you have to wait until you receive your sim cards in the mail (if physical) and then follow the steps in the link to transfer the numbers. For eSim this would be faster as you won’t have to wait.

When creating the account and adding the lines, just choose any phone number that is provided. This will be used as a temporary number that you replace once the account is setup and you have the sims.  🙂

ok, so a couple of questions just to clarify some things.

The account is setup - is it setup with two lines with temporary numbers or is just one line setup?

Where the account is setup, do you have the sim cards yet? If you just activated the account, you will have to wait for this to show up first before you can do the number changes.

Do you have access to Koodo self serve?

I have the account set up and I don’t have SIM cards but they don’t use e sim as I used e sim either my last provider

Right, and when you setup the account and added the lines, did you order the lines with physical sim cards?

If so, it is as I said above. If you chose the physical sim cards, you just have to wait for the sim cards to come in the mail and then you can transfer the numbers over by following the steps in the link.

This might be a stupid question question but I have SIM cards that they sent me but never used can I use them

It depends.  How were the sim cards sent to you?  Was it a blank sim from when you ordered a new phone but you used your existing sim instead?

Is the sim was previously activated, then it wont work after 30 days or if it was activated for one line, it wont work for another line.

Also Note that  just having a blank sim, doesnt mean you can insert and activate.  A new activation always includes sending you a new sim (physical or electronic)

If I do my new account online do they send my SIM card electronically to my phone

So Koodo does not have any details with how this works exactly (I have informed them they should late last year).

But from what I have been told:

You will be shown a QR code online to scan

1) Activate the account (which activates the eSIM in the koodo system at the same time)

2) Add the eSIM to your device

Ok but I f do not have a computer  so how will that work

You can do this on a phone or tablet as well.  You still need to order via the website online.  Koodo does not have an app
