Request for Full Details of $29

Hello,

I have recently taken a new KOHO SIM. I was informed that the plan cost is $29 for the first month, and from the second month it will be $24.

I kindly request you to provide the complete details of this plan in writing.

Please specifically clarify the following benefits:

  1. How much data (GB) is included in this plan?
  2. For calling to India:
    • How many total minutes are included?
  3. Are international text messages included in this plan or not?
  4. If there are any additional fees, taxes, or conditions, please explain them clearly.

Please provide all the above information clearly and in detail, so there is no confusion regarding the plan.

Do you mean Koodo, rather than Kobo? If the plan isn't advertised then it'll have to depend on where you saw this particular plan. There's a lot of special deals and offers not always advertised on the main page

Yes, I meant Koodo, not Kobo. This plan was offered to me when I took a new Koodo SIM, and I was informed that the price would be $29 for the first month and $24 from the second month onward.

Since this plan does not appear to be advertised on the main website, I am requesting written confirmation of the full plan details that were explained to me at the time of signup.

I would appreciate it if you could please confirm:

  • The total data (GB) included
  • The India calling minutes, if any
  • Whether international texting is included
  • Any additional fees, taxes, or conditions associated with this plan

I understand that some plans are special or location-based offers, which is why I am asking for clear written details to avoid any confusion later.

Are you a prepaid or postpaid customer?

If you are a postpaid customer, when you activate the plan, did you receive the service agreement?

When I activated my new SIM and plan, I did not receive any written service agreement or full plan details. That is why I am now requesting written confirmation of all the plan benefits and terms.

Please provide the complete details and terms of my plan in writing.

Are you a prepaid customer? 

When you sign into your self-serve, and choose the plan, can you see the detail there?

Please note that this is a customer forum, so you cannot request a written copy of your rate plan here. Also, Koodo rarely provides extra documentation regarding rate plans. The service agreement and information in self-serve is what you got. That is why I asked if you are a postpaid or prepaid customer several times.

Its probable that you are prepaid then if you didn't receive any such things. You said you setup your selfserve. At the login page, do you see “login” or “self-serve prepaid login”? Do you select “monthly customer”or “prepaid cusotmer”when you enter your account credentials? 

 

When i review the prepaid plan choices, I do see a $29 option with 20/25gb at 4G data available. So it sounds like you're prepaid if you can confirm the above.

In that case, the prepaid plans link should give you the details you need:

I’ll have to check out the prepaid self-serve to see where the full plan details are, but your self-serve should also have this information about your plan.
