regarding my plan

Hi , yesterday i opted for 28$ monthly plan but on my account it showed 50$ ? How’s that possible ?

Hi there,

Are you currently a koodo customer and switched to a $28 plan or are you new to koodo and just signed up for it?

Also, did you receive a confirmation email outlining the plan? Is it possible it has credits applied to the base plan reducing it to $28 from $50 or is the initial cost higher due to a "proration" charge? This can be found in the PDF bill. I suggest you check it.

Assuming you recently ported over to Koodo, your first bill will always be higher than your subsequent ones. It includes partial monthly charges from the date of activation until the start of your bill cycle, as well as charges for the full month in advance. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/your-koodo-bill-after-youve-activated-a-new-account-or-added-a-new-line

Partial credits are no longer applied towards your bill, so you may not likely see it until you receive your next one. That could also explain why it is higher than expected.
