overcharge for Easyroam

Hello,

I have been overcharged for Easy roam on our phone bill. Ridiculous amount too. Easy roam was set up as per instructions and text came through that it was activated. And yet Koodo has charged me for every day. I can't even get the chat to have allow a callback. So frustrating. Any help on how I can get a callback arranged so I can talk to a live person would be lovely..

What do you mean that you were overcharged? Easy Roam get charged on every day you use it. Isn’t that what happened?

No, I activated the easy roam plan that is offered. And instead of it charging me $70 for 14 days it charged me everyday! And I can't get assist to allow me to get a callback. I miss talking to real people on the phone and not have to jump through all these hoops.

Are you saying you signed up for the Roaming travel pass?  Which pass did you sign up for and what country are you in?

When you download your detailed pdf ebill, do you see just the daily Easy Roam charges, or do you see any other additonal charges like pay per use charges?

 

EDIT: It sounds like you sign up for the asia travel pass.  When did you text the code to activate?  Did you get a confirmation text?

ASIA:

To get a 14-day Easy Roam Travel Pass (cost of $70): Text ASIA14 to 7626

  • Provides 14 consecutive days of roaming in eligible destinations in Asia

  • Remains active on your plan for 30 days from the activation date

  • After the pass expires or the 14 days are used up, further roaming is charged at pay-per-use rates, as listed on koodomobile.com/payperuse.

We did sign up for that one. And we did get the text message saying all set up and good to go. But we were charged daily. And I can see that it was activated. I guess I will have to go to the store as I can't get assist to allow me a callback.

As well, just to confirm, is your destination included in the travel package?
