Lower Plan Rates Unavailable?

In the past, I’ve been able to select from a variety of different plans and pricing regardless of my current phone bill.
Recently, I’ve been trying to lower/change my phone bill as I now don’t require as much data. It’s impossible, I’ve read all the articles, seen all of the self-serve solutions and still have not figured this out. I just need a cheaper plan, with less data, and the only options I get are more expensive ones or ones that stay the same. If I was able to do this before, what changed?

What is your current plan? Which plan are you looking for?

Have you considered looking at prepaid plans? There is a limited-time offer where you can get 25GB of data for $25 with automatic top-up. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/prepaid-plans

Hi, how much are you paying , and do you have a Tab with Koodo as of now?

I do have a tab, 24 month phone payment. This is my second phone with them. With my past tab, I was able to change my plan, so I’m just a little confused.

Thank you! I’m not sure if I’d be able to switch from monthly to prepaid while I’m on a 24month phone payment plan aswell.

If you had a tab as of now, the option is limited though. Porting out to prepaid or another carrier is expensive because of the Tab/Tab bonus repayment.

Since Koodo put a restriction on plan change for your case. Most of the option is available in self-serve. You can try to schedule a call back and ask but I don’t think you can get as a low as a BYOD plan.
