Latest offer for new phone

I just got a text stating: “As a valued customer, we're offering you a 40GB plan at $34/mo + a new device at $0/mo on Tab!”.

So I log in to the web site and I see nothing but the usual web site --- no pop-up dialog boxes directed at me, no acknowledgement of me with respect to this offer.

How do I find out which phone(s) they are offering me at this plan/price?

Did the text give any more details about how to select this?

Since the promo is sent by text, typically, the offer would show up if you tried to upgrade or add a new line. Have you tried that?

Sometimes you could see several devices that are not $0/month as well.

No.  It was just that sentence and the usual “opt out of texts” option paragraph at the end.

No success with either of those.   I tried the “add a line” option and nothing came up.  Also went into the Self Serve page for my account and found an upgrade offer for a new phone, but it was $0 now and a monthly Tab charge, NOT the “$0 per month” offer in the text I got.

This is extremely annoying and frustrating …

Did you try upgrading your phone and continue on to the screen where you can choose a new plan? It may depend on the type of Tab selected.

Have you considered the Pixel 9a or the Samsung A16? Both are available with $0 down and $0 monthly payments. I would recommend you try to add a new line and add those phone to see if the offer comes up.

@James077

Will you please log into your community account using the Log in via self serve option in the community login page, as in the screenshot below, so we can look into it from our end?

Okay, I did that …. what was it supposed to do?  It just brought me to my account page.

I  don’t WANT a new plan.  Every new plan is way more expensive than my current one, unless I can get the one they offered me, which apparently is still hidden in some dark corner of Koodo’s web site that is completely inaccessible to me.. 😉

Which plan are you currently on? You will need to go over a certain amount to upgrade your phone and keep your current plan. If you upgrade your phone and choose the right Tab, you should be able to take advantage of this offer. https://www.koodomobile.com/en/help/keeping-or-changing-your-plan-when-you-upgrade-your-phone

Okay, I did a manual search on that phrase in the link and found the page now.  I DID find a great plan with a nice promo discount, but I still can't find any $0 per month phones.

Okay, making more progress!  Found the Pixel 9A for $0 per month and am going to see if I can get the phone and the discounted plan together …

Okay, this sucks.  OF COURSE, they won’t let me combine the discount plan with the Pixel 9A.   So again, more disappointment and frustration from Koodo.   Why did they not just include a specific link to the offer that they TEXTED me in the first place?
