Koodo purposely hiding cheaper plans

I have 2 lines on my plan, a $53 dollar plan and a 40 dollar plan. I don’t see the plans lower than $50 when I manage the more expensive line. This is predatory behavior, and I shouldn’t have to complain in the forums to shop for a deal.

Weird that when managing your $53 line you don’t see plans under $50. Koodo does have cheaper plans (even $15 starter plan), but they're not always available to everyone  especially if you're on a higher level plan. Any plan you're interested in?

Yeah, I have the beefier plan, my son has a cheaper one. When I flip between the 2 plans, the offerings are different. I tried on both the mobile site and my laptop.

Specifically when I select “Change my plan” it doesn’t seem to want to offer cheaper deals. And since I have little actual use for data, I could stand to spare a few bucks a month.

Are you currently having a Tab with Koodo? I wonder if there is a restriction because of it.

No, no tabs. I bought both devices outright from Samsung (both the same device) then bought sims. When I view his account, there is a $40 20GB 5 g plan (and a few others) that I can’t see when I go to my line. Very frustrating.

I actually just saved $9/mo on a cheaper plan for his with the $10 autopay deduction - a plan I can’t see on my account.

I agree.  This going beyond the wireless industry.  There are now “personal offers” in apps for multiple retailers and sectors.  IMO this is a form of discrimination.  Unfortunately at this point, it is completely legal.  I suggest contacting your MLA or MP to start pressuring them to regulate this.

In that case, You would have to schedule a call back and ask a rep to look into it. www.koodo.com/chat

Even though you are unable to see it on your line, you can schedule a callback through Koodo Assist and speak with a rep. There are no guarantees, but you can try your luck. It should be noted that there will be a $15 fee for the plan change. https://Koo.do/Chat
