Hi I just bought a new IPad Pro and probably need to buy new SIM card as it is not included.
If I buy SIM card would it have same phone number as my IPhone phone number?

I am Deaf. I use it for texting communication.

Your iPad Pro M2 would need a data SIM card and tablet plan. The tablet plan does not come with voice or SMS capabilities. For messaging to work, my understanding is that you would have to pair or mirror your iPhone to your iPad Pro. The SIM card in your iPhone may look the same as the SIM card for your iPad Pro, but its functionality is different.
If opting for the ‘Bring your own tablet’ option, the data SIM card is available in-store only. Plans start from $20/month.
