how to remove device care complete

I upgraded my phone and bought a new plan (this is a phone and plan for my daughter Rachel) and she did not want to purchase device care complete. How do you remove this?

Hi there,

If you go under your daughter's line and go to the plan’s add ons, this is where you can find Device-Care-Complete.

That is also where you can remove the add-on. Steps to do this can be found in the link below. Let us know if you have any issues removing it. 🙂

Hi there, it actually doesn’t show up as an add-on. It’s just referenced in her invoice as what her monthly charges will be going forward. She specifically unchecked device care but when it shows her order for a new phone, $17 per month for device care is added. Any thoughts?

Is it on the invoice itself or only referenced on the order?

We have looked into it and we cannot see the Device care feature on the line ending in *80 and this doesn’t appear on the most recent agreement either. Device care has been removed when the device upgrade has been completed.

The bill shows the Device care feature as the bill was issued before the device upgrade.

We have reviewed the service agreement, and we don’t see Device Care complete, you can download the service ageement in self serve.

Can you please let us know where you see this information that you shared above?

This was from an email I received on March 20th regarding my daughter’s ordering a new phone. She updated her plan at the same time. Received March 20, 2026 at 11:16am.

We understand that it can be a bit confusing since the order confirmation includes the Device Care feature, however, updated pricing, plan and add ons included add ons are stated on the services agreement. We can confirm that Device Care is no longer active on the line ending in *80
