As they are only offering for new customer at the moment, you can’t “swap” without adding a line. 
if you want to stay with Koodo and you didn’t have any Tab, you can open a new line with the promo first , transfer the current line out to a prepaid service somewhere and after that port the number back into the new promo line in Koodo.
