How do I activate the new Discovery+?

I’ve received an email telling me to do so and providing a link, but when I click it, it just takes me to the add-ons screen. Stream+ is listed but isn’t clickable and Discovery+ isn’t mentioned on the page anywhere. I also tried the step-by-step instructions but whatever I’m supposed to be seeing to allow me to activate the new app isn’t showing up.

Yes, I did. Instead of using the link you got in your email, go to koodo.com and log in like normal instead. A button should show up on the screen then that says Activate Discovery+. If it doesn’t, you will have to arrange a Koodo callback.

Are you still on the original Stream+? Discovery+ has not been offered for a quite a while, since Koodo shifted to their new subscription plans.

Yeah, I know. Folks who wished to stay on the old Stream+ could, though. Now because Discovery+ is changing something, Koodo has contacted me asking me to activate the new app, however it doesn’t work. This email was directly from Koodo, though

Just to double check, when you got to add-ons in self serve and click the drop down button, nothing is listed? 

Have you tried opening the link in the email in incognito mode on your browser?

Stream+ is listed as one of my add-ons but I can’t click on it or anything. I also tried in an incognito window and no luck.
 

According to the step-by-step instructions, under “Manage add-ons”, it should let me click “Activate” for discovery+ but I don’t see any such thing there.

No, there is not. I can’t click anything under “Manage add-ons” except the X to remove them.

same…. emailed link doesn't go to activate account.

login for new discovery appears to be a new Canadian site where old credentials don't work.

A Rep has spoken to me twice and keeps insisting I have to pay even though the email says my subscription and pricing will stay exactly the same

@kwazoo I’m not sure I understand. Is this a new issue? I see you originally saying you have the same issue as the OP. But now you’re saying you’re being told you have to pay? Do you mean pay a higher price? Pay for the time you couldn’t use the service due to the issue?

I received the same email as the original poster. Despite two callbacks I have not been offered the same solution. I have been told I would need to pay extra for discovery plus. This issue has not been solved. Thank you

I’m having the same issue but I don’t see a solution on here. Deleted the old app on my tv, downloaded the new one, logged in. The app is telling me to purchase a subscription. Went to the Koodo email link which brings me to my add-ons, and doesn’t show stream+, despite it being listing on my bill.

The Streamplus is now separated into the "internet and subscriptions" area. It isn't an add-on in the plan detail. You could find it in the self-service menu
